Understatement With A Twist

Denim really is my go-to fabric at any time, any season, it adds the right amount of off-duty coolness to any outfit and is super easy to style. At the moment I am into oversized silhouettes with cropped lengths. To update this denim-on-denim look and in order to add some shape and silhouette to this super relaxed The Seafarer Dress (worn as a shirt here), I added my Moschino Looney Tunes mini chain bag and these velvet booties by Högl. I love unpretentious outfits with a little twist, so I thought that the velvet and the shiny heels, the embellishments and Swarovski crystals added that little something to the look, without stealing the show too much. And the best part is: those booties are made for walking – even running – so so comfortable! Last but not least: with a simple denim outfit like this, I always like to add some dainty jewelry. I prefer solid gold and silver pieces, like these solid gold necklaces, rings and earrings by my·eliza, which I never have to take off. Shop my look below. Enjoy!
